Sevilla <> Málaga, Sevilla <> Almería, Málaga <> Ronda and Algeciras
Due to flood damage in October, the following adjustments have been made to the regular service:
- MD Sevilla <> Málaga: Travellers will travel by road on the rail-replacement bus between Osuna and Pedrera (in both directions). The rest of the route is by train.
- MD Sevilla <> Granada-Almería: Travellers will travel by train between Seville and Osuna. There will be a rail-replacement bus from Osuna to Granada and intermediate stops. The same operation is in effect for the reverse route from Almería-Granada-Sevilla too.
- MD Algeciras <> Granada: There is a rail-replacement bus between Algeciras and Antequera Santa. From Antequera travellers will continue on the usual bus established by the high-speed works to Granada.
- MD Málaga <> Ronda: Travellers will travel by bus all the way, in both directions.
The operation of the rail replacement shuttle buses are smooth and the tickets we sell on Loco2 are valid for the bus too. On Renfe's website, affected journeys will show a ( ! ) symbol, a TRAIN-BUS combination or will be sold-out. Please check your journey before you book if you want to avoid the rail-replacement service.
6 May - 3 June
No rail traffic will travel on the Madrid-Fuenlabrada-Talavera route between 6 May and 3 June due to engineering works. There will be a rail-replacement service between Madrid and Talavera during this time.
Granada <> Antequera
There are long-term engineering works between Granada and Antequera. There are ongoing rail replacement buses. Our Help document Granada to Antequera long-term engineering works has more information.
What to do if you experience a delay
Please speak to staff on the train or at the station if you are delayed. They will have the most up to date information and can tell you what to do. Also, ask the staff to stamp your ticket with proof of delay. This will make it easier for you to travel on later trains.
Keep all of your tickets until you return home. They can be used to submit a claim to the rail operator if you incur any unavoidable additional costs (new tickets, taxis).
Please note that this information is provided by the rail operator and cannot be guaranteed by Loco2.
